Ok, so i went to the store looking for plasti dip and the person at the counter directed me to rustoleum Pro Grip rubber coating. They said it peels like plasti dip, but i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it before I put it on the truck. I would rather not ruin any paint on my truck.

RustOleum.com

Theres a link to the product, any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I want to spray my emblems, the 4runner emblem, limited emblem and Toyota emblem. If that goes as planned, might be on the bigger things including flares and rocker panels. This product seems to have no reviews though.

See if you can just get some Plastidip.
The Homedepot carries it and its readily available online.
I really think there is nothing seriously wrong with Plastidip and no need to look for an alternative. Hope the emblems come out nice, just make even coats and spray a little from the can before each coat to clear out the nozzle, also dont let the cans get low on pressure as the texture changes when they get low.

Thats the problem, I went to home depot and they said only available online, checked the site and they want 24.99 a can. Is this just a canadian problem? Im going to try some other stores and if I find plasti dip I will be returning this stuff. Thanks everyone for the input.

Sorry to hear that, this site has it for 7 dollars a can www.dipyourcar.com
But their online checkout doesn't allow for shipping to Canada. Maybe its worth calling them? they seem to be a smaller company and might be willing to ship to you.

I suppose worst case senerio I take a drive to the border store, about 30 mins away. Again, thank you for your input
