Ohh it was very sketchy. I have my front bumper adjusted so there's no more gap. Within the next month my custom front bumper should be done and the gap on the rear bumper will be fixed.

Light Racing UCA's were ordered today and then re-gearing to 5.29's. Hopefully a locker will be installed in the rear when the gears go in.

After purchasing new tires and my alignment adjustment being "maxed" at my last alignment I wanted to get new UCA's to allow more adjustment.

I had some free time this afternoon so I decided to install my new Light Racing UCA's. Since I installed my 2" body lift things seem to be easier to remove and install with the extra room. The bolt that holds the UCA's in came out very easily. I rented a Ball Joint/ U-bolt press and got to work. I don't recommend renting one. They are garbage and just make you mad. I ended up having to remove my spindles and took them to Les Schwab. They removed the ball joints for free. I forgot the new hardware to install in the ball joint location so I had to use the rental garbage to press them in. Everything else went smooth.

Damn, that's sexy!! Great work

Did you have to trim to fit the 35's ?

I've got a full 3.5" of lift above stock plus a 2" Body Lift so there wasn't much trimming needed. Mostly just the pinch welds and inner fenders. I've stuffed the tires pretty good and get some rubbing but its nothing that a air grinder won't fix.

I spent a few hours one day removing the fender and cleaning up the debris in the rocker panel. I took the time to silicone the intake fittings and let them dry. I then spent a couple hours the next day with some help from "The Kid" with drilling the holes and finding the right placement. Let things cure and dry another day and today I spent an hour putting everything together. I could have done it in a few hours but I wanted to make sure the snorkel was functional as far as not letting water enter the intake.

Very nice Safari rack Ryan!! Have the perfect size!!

What's going on with the manual hubs swap??

Cheers

Hey Ryan. Your rig is looking sweet man, its come a long way!
I see youve installed 861's in the rear, how you liking them?

Im thinking i might go that route too possibly. In work mode, i got probably 300 lbs of gear plus cbi plate bumper-no swingout no spare, and my 890's are sagging about 2". In play mode i probably got 200 lbs of gear plus plate bumper WITH swingout, spare, and up to 10 gal in jerry cans. All in all i estimate im running 400-600 lbs above stock weight and ideally i want 3.5 to 4.5 inches of lift. Sound about right based on your experiences so far?

We should discuss further over a beer or something, just sayin haha. Id love to hear what you think of them though, seeing even better.

Hope you are good,
Ttyl
