I love "stockers with lockers" type of threads! I wouldant worry about tire size too much. Youd be surprised where you can go with 31s and a locker. Just get some good armor.

:thumb3:

I'll have to remember that, Kid--I'm hoping to make it out to Moab sometime this year as well, and see what my newest rig is capable of. It would be nice having a fellow Runner along! No specific plans as of now--could be soon, could be in the Fall.

Lemme know, it'd be great to hook up. I don't know many of the trails down there right now, but I plan to by this fall. :D

Sorry to jack your build thread FoG, I'll shut up now.

Ordered rear Yukon locker today. Had a great talk with Scott at Addicted Offroad. He'll be installing the locker next Wednesday! Probably do the front bumper at the same time.

Getting high flow cat installed today! The nuts are stripped on the oxygen sensor (yay). I'll probably have that fixed at the muffler shop.

Last thing for today is oil change and lube. For all the work I can do myself, I have always found it easier to just pay the $29.95 and get it done at a shop.

So my friend John at Front Range Muffler convinced me that I would see very little improvement with the new cat. I trust him to know more about exhaust than I will ever will. I'll come back after I install the new oxygen sensor if I don't see any mpg improvement.

In the meantime, I picked up a Rola roof rack instead. Pics as soon as I get it on.

No real visible changes yet. Got the O2 sensor in today despite the bolts being stripped by the PO. Runs strangely better. LOL!

Got the Rola roof rack installed.

Torching the poor thing's nuts off?! No wonder the bolts in the engine bay were giving you a hard time! (Sorry...couldn't help it. LOL)

Today's work went smoothly for once. Got outer and inner front wheel bearings replaced. We'll see in the morning if it fixes my cold weather noise. Either way it runs smooth.

Another note on the O2 sensor: Wow! What a difference!

Gonna clean my MAF sensor this weekend and detail the engine bay just a bit.

Bought some rubberized spray paint as well. Gonna conduct a small experiment using the spare tire carrier.

Taking two weeks off work! I'd like to say that I am only doing it to work on the Minnow, but I guess I have to do some work around the house.

Monday-Cleaning, inspecting and re-packing CV joints.
Tuesday-washing as much of everything as I can.
Wednesday-Going to Addicted Offroad for lockers and front bumper.
Thursday-Diff breather mod.
Friday-Wheelin with some Jeep guys. (Anyone out of Colorado Springs who wants to join, PM me)

Should be a busy and productive week.

Friday is going to be a blast. Youll be surprised how much that locker does. Take lots of pic, cant wait to see the Minnow in action!

Im taking next week off of work to mainly work on the truck too. Haha. Good timing.

Is it the washing part or the Jeep part you see a problem with? Or is it the washing and then wheelin' part? I figured I would wash it before goingto see Scotty at AOR. If I showed up with a dirty rig he might not want to do the work. LOL!

Side note: If the CV's are shot (it's possible) I'll b changing them out altogether.

Jeep guys are ok, I guess. Not everybody can be cool.

Nah, I'm just worried about washing before wheeling. I dunno about your rig but the dirt on mine is probably structural at this point. :pimp:
