No it shouldn't. I have Keyless entry as well but i never got the clicker from the previous owner. So i always lock it with the key. But yeah, once you have the clicker and someone opens the door without unlocking or the key/ to break in, it will go off.

you should get tint too. I have 5% over my back windows stock 20% and you can see in, even when you cup your hands and put your face on the glass. Ive had my alarm go off(2-way python) and ill go outstide only to find some greasy ass marks from someone trying to look inside.
So between the tint and the alarm im pretty much covered. But get the alarm and turn it too sensitive and youll annoy your neighbors, because it will go off if the wind blows too hard, someone with an exhaust drives by or if a squirell jumps on it.

hmmm...
Its funny coz i bought the 5% tint a month ago but never got a chance to put it on. If you look at the picture i have, you'll see it laying there in the original packing. Lazy Me. But i'm doing that for sure this Labor day weekend. 2-Way Python huh?? Is it the same as Viper, or is different(better). ??

no they are the same, python and viper and both from directed electronics(a larger company). There are 2 major alarms(viper and python) for competing stores. For example, best buy carries viper, i hate best buy though so i went to circuit city which carries the python line. Get it?

Yeah, if u read some of my previous posts, i said that. i alwayz had it covered, and may be that was one of the suspicious factor. My system was never, and i mean never visible. May be thats why they saw a fully covered back portion and two cd players and decided to take the chance.

Was your sub box bolted down? Makes it a lot harder to steal them, and it keeps your head from being bashed off in a rear-end collision. Most insurance companies require that a stereo system be bolted or fastened to the car in order to take out a policy on the equipment.
Look on the bright side, at least they got cheap stereo gear, save for the head unit.

No it was not bolted, I figured out that if they couldn't take it out, they'll probably leak it by punching holes in it. Thats what they did to my maxima's rims. When they couldn't break the wheel locks, they just punctured my tire.
And for the head unit, it wasn't worth any better. Its a regula Sony player from previous owner.

I feel for you man. that just sucks. Next thing i'm doing after putting an alarm is to post a sticker on my windows saying "The Owner of this Vehicle carries a Gun (G-45c)" and shoot one of these motherlovers.
