can yall share some info on what ditch light brackets y'all used that work with the snorkel?

I think the CBI ditch light brackets place the lights further outward than some of the other brands available (Rago and CaliRaised are the only others i know of) which seems like a better mounting spot for a ditch light but likely make clearance tighter with a snorkel.

Im using the CBI bracket, I know others are running the Rago. I would went with the Rago if they had been available when I ordered.

Cody, I use the Rago ditch light brackets and never had an issue with space.

thanks, i thought so but didn't see their "R" cut into the bracket so wasn't sure
i wonder if a larger BD light would fit without issues, a Squadron Pro or even XL

Just extended my diff breather in prep for installing the snorkel. Seems like your defeating one of the functional purposes of the snorkel (deep water crossings) if you don't.

Yes, I would do the diff mod before you even consider a snorkel. Doesn't take much water depth to get H20 in your rear diff.

I just picked up a limited that has the safari snorkel installed. I’m not sure if the holes under it on the pillar got hit with paint / touch up. Is there any easy way I can just unbolt the snorkel enough to see that area or do I have to take the whole thing off at that fender etc???

there is no easy way to unbolt, b/c there is only one way to do it.
1. jack vehicle up
2. take tire off (optional if you can't stick your head between tire and fender...not safe IMHO)
3. peel fender liner off
4. then look up
5. be really careful messing with bolts, some people will locktite the bolts. If that is the case you can potentially damage the snorkel, if you over torque the bolts trying to get the bolts off.
6. take off bolts to inspect paint.... IN most cases, If i remember the bolts have these huge washers so....u won't be able to see the fender without taking off the bolts.

I don't have the Safari snorkel (I went with the Prado 150 ebay special), but I know my mounting points on the A pillar are rivets, not bolts.

Does anyone still have their template from the install that they could send me please?

purchased a used airmax snorkel ARB and wanting to install however I rather have a template to line up the cuts than cutting randomly.

EDIT: Found one. Its a pdf and can be printed to scale. If anyone needs in the future just PM me and i'll send it over. Tough finding small things like this for installs sometimes and just trying to help a someone in the future if they stumble upon this thread post.
