Safe mount under rear driver side seat - issues?

I've found that a small Bulldog safe fits perfectly under the back/rear seat, fitting right in to the small divot as if this spot was made for it. I'd like to bolt it down.

Is there any wiring running through that area? If I drill in to the steel, what do I need to worry about hitting or punching in to? What is the thickness of the underlying steel and am I better using metal screws and punching through or drilling in if it is thicker steel and tapping it for bolt threads?

Have you tried looking around from under the truck with a mirror in the area you want to drill? There are other things you could damage besides wires, so if you are not certain it's safe - don't drill. It also might depend on what model truck you have.

i'd crawl underneath and look for fuel lines or the tank etc...
