1st Purchase with the insurance $ was some dual disconnect sway bar end links from [MENTION=98153]MStudt[/MENTION]. I was tired of driving down the freeway feeling like Free Willy!
Who makes those disconnects?

Thanks! The problem is, I think I want to turbo charge in the future. I think it would in the end give me more options for power as they are relatively easily tunable for more power. The superchargers, I don't think would give me as dynamic of a range in power as I would like. How do you feel about that since you have done your Turbo?

The turbo certainly offers more options and expandability, and is also considerably cheaper than the supercharger as well. Given that there is a readily available kit for these trucks, I definitely recommend turbocharging. If your new engine is built to OEM specs and your fuel system fully functional, you can run 5-7 psi of boost on the stock engine, which should put you around or above the 200 RWHP mark.
I'm running 5 psi, and could easily go up to 7 psi with just the 01-04 pink 2RZ injectors and a Walbro 255 fuel pump. Any more boost would require a piggyback or standalone ECU, which is a significant investment and will do away with your OBDII system (necessary for rego renewal where I live). I'm perfectly happy with 5 psi personally, and with the turbo I'm running, spool is damn near instant, perfect for an extra boost when running offroad as well as on the street.
Gas mileage improved significantly as well, from 15 MPG before to 18-20 MPG after. That certainly wouldn't happen with the supercharger.

Either option would be nice, but at the moment it is a no go. My money has to go other places than my rig for a little bit, you know, unless something breaks.

Lol, we did a Jake and the Neverland Pirates themed birthday and my wife had the great idea of a treasure hunt. I had the wonderful job of making the treasure hunt happen. A tarp, a bunch of fake gold coins and mardi gras style necklaces and a couple sticks for "X" marks the spot. Viola, we have a treasure spot.

I have been playing with ideas on what to do with the sand that is left sitting wrapped up in a tarp. I am thinking about making an elevated sand box. Similar to the one below with a top that can be closed so no kitties decide to use it as a litter box!
