So i have a couple questions, now that i dont have the stock rear bumper this thing is in plain site. what is it??

its a pressure vent for when you close the doors, try it slam the door shut and that flap would open.

Another thing i was thinking about was cutting the last part of my exhaust off so its not the lowest part in the rear end. plus it looks kinda wierd. what do you guys think??

i would do it for sure, i've pinched my exhaust shut more than once now.

i was thinking of doing it right here

move it froward a bit more and cut it flat instead of down.so you end up with a 45 degree turn down.

I would go more towards the axle, so that it is pointed down.
