My dealer told me it was available , but I think they send it out for installation. The JBL system does have the sat. button on it.

05-05 Factory Sirius tuners

I have Factory Sirius tuners for 05-06 Toyota 4Runners.
They are $399 ea. They work on all 4Runners with SAT. button.
I own an electronics company in so. florida and do these all day for the dealerships. If you are interested please give me a call at 561-239-6105.

Do you have any pictures of the Sirius unit you're describing? I thought there was only the XM tuner available for the 4Runner. If you don't have the SAT button on the HU (I've got a 2005 with NAV and single CD), will your unit work? I know the XM unit works by pushing the AM button until the SAT stations appear, even though there isn't a button labelled AM/SAT.

A place called "CoastalTech.com" I think had an XM unit and another place "metrotpn.com" had an XM unit for something like $240 a little while ago.

Sirius

The Sirius tuner works on all 05-06 4Runners with an SAT. button on the radio. sorry no pics. I'll take a pic of one i'm installing next week.

XM Toyota Factory Tuner

I had it installed on my 2006 4Runner Limited.

Dealer charged $499.

Works great. I had the JBL 10 Speaker radio so I only see 10 characters but I can program the SAT buttons for 18 channels so I have plenty programmed and can find what I want. Sounds great to since it is connected directly to head unit.

We are in Northern Virginia. Used Koons Toyota in Tysons Corner.

How difficult is the installation and is there enough antenna wire to put the antenna on the back of the vehicle?

I did not install

I did not do the installation. I can't say how difficult it was.

But the installer did not put the antenna on the back, he put in on the right passenger side, just in front of the roof racks. It is very small. The unit has been working great.
