Satoshi, Spydertrax, and Gobi Ranger finished ... and some off road pictures

So, I finished my Satoshi and took her off-roading a bit at the beach in Cape Cod. Next week: I've got Bud-Built Bumpout sliders on the way and some OTRATTW switches and Hella HIDs to go across the front of the Ranger rack.

She actually rode in the rack a ways ...

Is this Massachusetts?

Sure, the trails are actually the Cape Cod ORV trails.

Easily some of the best beaches in New England if you ask me. That site should have all the info about what you need to get a permit and out on the trail.

As for my truck, no lift. The tires are the stock size, General Grabber AT2's in E load rating. I've ran these tires on the past 4 rigs of mine, they absolutely cannot be beaten for the price - highly recommended.

I will finally be in the company of a fellow 5th gen owner, i've been teaching school in the mountains of Maine... and no one up here lives to 4-wheel like I do! which equals a lot of self rescues haha. I am in the Boston area and hoping to make it to the beach before tourist season kicks in. What do visitors do when natrue calls out there? I reviewed the park webpage about the oversand area and couldn't find anything official about this. The wife will need to know if I can convince her to go!

I'm not sure what the "official" answer is to this question. What I can tell you is that there are a lot of dunes ...

Apart from that, there are strategically placed portable toilets at most of the trail heads (not on the sand, but just past it on the pavement).

Just make sure you've got everything they ask for, they do a thorough inspection - pay particular interest to that tire pressure gauge part.

Apart from that, if you want some company my woman and I go out every nice weekend and I have an extra jacking board if you want it (it's one of the requirements 10"x12"x1.5")

Thanks for the reply. I decided to call the ORV office and the ranger told me "theoretically" visitors would drive back to the restrooms at the main entrance, and he repeated "theoretically" several times.
