Got the heads up from some of the FJ Cruiser guys and gals.

Since I'm still waiting on my under body armor (and the LE has less plates than anything else) I will be taking it a little easy. It's also my first time there.

Anyway, Any other 4Runners going to be in the area and interested in joining us?

TRAIL
Children 6 and under ride free,
Age 7 and up $20 One Day/ $15 2nd Day/ $10 3rd Day
PASSENGER FEE: Age 7-12 $5.00 ; Age 13+ $10.00

We sell the flags in our office and prices are as follows:
$14.00- 1/4" pole with flag
$19.50 for 5/16" colored pole with flags
$22.50 for pole with spring and flag.
$5 for just the pennant.
If you need a replacement compression bolt, they are $5.
All flag pennants have a Badlands™ logo. We also fix Badlands flags at no charge (as long as you have your pieces).

Ill be there the weekend before. Since its your first time, I would say you should expect some pinstriping from the branches unless you just stick to the dunes and quarry.

Thanks for the heads up Dan... Yeah.. I'm a wimp as far as the pinstriping goes... so I'll be taking it easy. You know how it is... until you get your first one.... :tape::crutch:

So. Much. Pinstriping. But my rig is old so I don't care lol. but definately expect a fair amount on your rig, especially if it is a darker color

But I am in touch with the FJ guys too so I'll prolly be with the group plus a couple third gen guys from here too

So stupid question... if the pinstriping is THAT much of a given... aren't they doing any trail maintenance (or not enough)? sounds like the trails may be cut to narrow!?!

I guess we'll see when we get there, but this is not a play-vehicle. it's my daily driver and overlanding vehicle. Not a "lets-see-how-stuck-we-can-get-it" attitude here.

Worst case scenario I'll take the bypass back out and call it a day early.... but want to go check it out at the very least.

I took my DD with me last time...no locker and AT tires. There weren't any places I couldn't go...except through the pond that CLund went through (no one else did either). I had a few pinstripes, but nothing ridiculous. Most of them came out with a wash and wax.
There is always someone willing to take theirs further than me...but I still hang out all day and have a good time. I don't push mine too far since I have to drive it to work on Monday!

Oh that pond...won't make that mistake again. Scary as hell.

Everyone that goes takes their daily drivers so we try to take care and be mindful of the fact. Pin striping is an unfortunate fact of life in the Midwest/East coast, trails are just tighter here than out West

my first trail rig was a dedicated wheeler. So if something happened, oh well. My advice to people is, if you are concerned about some form of body damage, stay off the trails here. You can't enjoy this hobby if you are worried about scratches and dents.

Yes, I hail from the mighty Rockies, but I'm here in IN for school, so I would love to come to this! Will have to wait until a few days before and see how funds work out - Fortunately, this falls on Fall Break for me.

And I don't wanna hear about no pinstriping! That's scary.

And I'm with Adam/Millerad - this is my DD and I have absolutely no time, energy, money to fix anything if stuff goes wrong. I'm just looking to see some off pavement!

And I have no mods relevant to off road. No lift, nada. So I can't be doin nothin fancy anyway.
