Saw a good deal on an '08 4th Gen SR5 today

I know some of you have been looking. It was black and looked brand new. I have no affiliation to the dealership and would get nothing if they sold it. I just saw it while driving to the store late tonight with my son and wanted to pass it along. It had a big sticker on the window asking $19,995 which is a great price I think, and I know they would have wiggle room because no car dealer puts on the window what they will really sell it for.

I can go over there and get more info if anybody is interested. They are just about a mile away from me. For that price it may be worth buying it and having it trucked to you. I'd be happy to go check it out, take pics, take it for a drive, or even take it to a mechanic to get checked out (if you pay for the mechanic!) if anybody is seriously interested.

I know when I was looking for an FJ all over the country that a lot of their forum members stepped up to help out and it was a good thing for me, and I'm just trying to help others as well. This 4Runner looked like it was right off the lot. It may have high miles or something, but this dealership has been around for quite a few years and always seems to have top quality SUV's on their lot.

I'm a dummy. One second after posting this I remembered they have a website. It is actually dark blue. I couldn't tell because it was night. Here are pictures and info. Looks like it is on the high side of miles (58,000-ish) but that's still a good deal. It looks from the sticker that was on the window in the original pics that they were asking about $22,000 so they must be desperate to get it off the lot. I wish it had lower miles, somebody would be getting a steal at sub 20 grand. Oh well. If interested let me know.

Deal?

I looked for months to find what I wanted. The problem I had is it had to have third row seating, hard to find. I had to give up leather and four wheel drive. I did find a 06 white SR5. 51,000 miles with new tires and third row for $17,500. Never been hit with service records, couple small touchups but that is to be expected. Oh yeah, I only wanted the grey interior.

its still a good deal as long as its 4wd. Theyre more expensive on the west coast, trust me i looked for months. the mileage is a bit high, but if you could get it for less than 19 999 that would be a steal. was it 4wd as well, that would be a deal breaker on the cost i would think.

Yes it is. I've never even seen a 2 wheel drive for sale here in Utah. Seriously. Nobody would ever buy one.

I know people from Arizona and Nevada will come here to buy 4x4's. On the flipside, if a dealer down there gets stuck with a 4x4 then they will market them here to get rid of them. One of the dealerships near me sells nothing but 4x4's out of Arizona because his brother owns a dealership down there and can't get rid of them. He trucks them all up here after buying them cheap down there and they make out like bandits.

I bought a Honda Pilot from a dealership in Las Vegas that was 4x4 that had sat on their lot for 9 months. I found out that 4 dealers here were fighting over it but none of them had a 2 wheel drive to trade the dealer down there. So I just paid cash and they trucked it to me, and I saved about 5 grand.

So to answer a short question with a ridiculously long answer. Yes... it is 4 wheel drive. As most trucks around here are. That's the only reason I put it up. I know a lot of out of staters that are in to offroading have a difficult time finding a 4x4, and we don't, so I wanted to share. Especially those in gulf states. That was all. Like I said... no big deal though if it doesn't sell. It isn't mine and I don't personally know the folks selling it. It's just cheaper than most used 4x4's around here and looked new to me.
