say byebye to my tsx retrofit setup, welcome my s2k on board!

most of the members saw my thread about my tsx retrofit headlight while back ago, i was very pleased with them but time by time, i want brighter and wider, so in order was a new setup of s2k retrofit. finally got them installed and here are pictures of the output, also a comparison of the old tsx setup, my other ride 06 TL and the new s2k setup

Excellent pics lawwailok. Some how I'm partial to your TL's stock setup. Unless the camera settings are different, the S2k projectors are a big improvement over the TSX.

yea edwin, i think the problem causes that is because the tsx and s2k setup, i use the same bulbs, philips 85122+. but i think the TL is using orasm bulbs. a lot of folks at hidplanet saying that philips are more yellowish white bright light versus orasm usually are more purplish white.

all pictures are using same setting and same spot, so i am thinking the brand of bulbs made the difference.

That looks awsome. I just installed my kit yesterday. I used the info from your first thread about bending the shield. I did this and it produced a great cutoff line (still needs a little tweaking). But my cutoff is much higher than yours, it is the same height as the stock one at around 20 feet but seems like it is higher from farther (100+ feet). Any suggestions? I will post some pics soon.

it shouldn't, unless you are on an incline. the way i judge if my lights are too high or too low, i don't go by the "headlight height adjustment rule", i just drive next to a regular sedan, if my cutoff is right under their rear view side mirror, then i am good. if i can see my light shinning the mirror, that means it is too high. that way i can sure that i am not blinding everybody on the street.
