Sceptre fuel cans 20L feeler

Hey guys I might be able to get some of the green 20L sceptre fuel cans. This is to see if there is interest from anyone in SoCal that is interested in buying one. They will be about 125 each. I'm not looking to do shipping. I'm located in Los Angeles. If no one is interested ill just get some for me.

I have not seen them in person but have seen pics. They are new and have the red strap for gas.

They are not as thick of plastic and are not the same shape but they work for my needs being they a fraction of the price and don't leak. I have 3 or 4 of the scepter cans and every single one of them leaks. I keep one inside the 4runner and I never smell gas inside with the amazon one.

you have 3 or 4 of the mil spec ones and they leak?
did you change the gaskets so they are the ones for gasoline and not diesel?

Some of them were red caps to start, but no I never changed the gaskets because for the price of gaskets I could buy new Cali legal cans.

ya they are pretty costly. i did see a write up on how to make new ones from a sheet of the material from mcmaster for like $10 a sheet.

I think he is talking about the non metal cans. The ones you linked I've read
Mixed reviews about the inside paint peeling and rusting.

those are not the same ones i was talking about. mine are the mil-spec plastic ones that are internally vented.

google the brand and find some for sale(new) in the us(for fuel). not gonna happen, i imported 6 from canada(where they are manufactured) and already sold the 4 i didnt need.

correct. mine are the plastic ones that will never rust.

I have the civilian scepter cans that are not as stout as the military ones from pep boys. They are only like 20 bucks and don't leak and zero vapors. I also have two four gallon rotopax containers that are made by scepter, they are very stout. Just a idea

From selling the extras on Craigslist for a non friend or fellow forum member price. I pretty much paid that for my mfcs. Gotta love supply and demand and good ole Craigslist.
