Scion T1806, Sirius, iPod, and Peripheral controller in '07 SR5

i got the issr11 cable and it worked no problem, pulled sirius right in and i got it activated 123. my only question now, im not sure if anyone has experienced this but when i am in the sirius radio listening to channels, the screen on the radio always says acquiring. as soon as i go to a channel it will say for example 20 on 20 channel 2 and plays it no problem but then a second later it goes right to acquiring, and will say that until i change the channel again. anyone know why it might say that? thanks for your help

I've had this happen every now and then if it's in a parking garage or carport while running for a while. Seems that it finally gets reception but doesn't update data immediately. If you cover the antenna with your hand until it fully blocks the audio signal (i.e., the sound completely cuts out), then remove your hand, it should give it the data and audio, and you'll be good to go.

therdan, thank you so much. that was all i had to do, i covered the antenna with my hand for a minute then took my hand off and it was fine. it is now working perfectly. thanks again for your help

Quick update for anyone concerned/curious: I updated my iPhone 4S to IOS 6 yesterday, tried with this setup, and no problems for ipod or Pandora.
