Scout Runner's adventure thread

I've not updated this in a while. I'm leaving Thursday morning to drive up to Ouray, Colorado. Taking a friend with me that's never been (off-road there). We will do all the usual Pass runs....Black Bear, Imogene, Engineer,....etc. Should be a great trip. I just put two new front tires on ScoutRunner this weekend. They only had about 8,000 miles on them, but I cut them up petty good off-road in some really sharp rocks at the Cross Bar Ranch (E rated 285's). They had some deep cuts, chunks of tread missing, and just didn't want to chance it on a 2000 mile round trip with the added amount of off-roading we will be doing.

I installed some LED marker lights in the grill today. I had them on my last 4Runner as well. I know some people don't like them, but I do. They look pretty cool in pics. The Morimoto HID's are still awesome as well. I love them and much prefer them over the XD Phillips lights (I had nothing but trouble with the lights and XD as well.)

I have some Rigid D2's that I'm going to install in the fog light locations tomorrow if I have time. Yes, I know these are way too bright to run as fogs. I've had them on 2 other vehicles and I love them. I live in the country and drive rural roads at night. If there are no oncoming cars, I use them.

A couple of weeks ago, I had my rear bumper replaced. It got smashed on a small tree at night when doing some hog hunting. When it was in the body shop for repair, I had them paint the front and rear valances black.....so no, it's not plasti-dip.

What did your hub to fender measurements end up being front / rear after you adjustments?

Wheels & tires are installed. It looks so much better now. I will probably turn up the Coilovers about 2-3 more turns on each side. The rear should settle a little also. I'll get some "after" measurements and post them with the before measurements.

you ever get "after" measurements?:humble:
