A freind of mine rolled her 93 and she said I could steel some parts off of it when she goes to scrap it. WHAT SHOULD I GET? I don't really know what parts would come in handy besides fog lights and other accesories.
Scrapping a 2nd gen... what parts should i grab?

chioce items:
power window switches
the window motors
ignition coil
tps sensor
rear window motor
rear window module
rear window switch (the one in the center console)
a/c knobs
the nobs to release the back seats so they fold forward
speedo cable
the two lines running from the a/c compressor to the condenser
the a/c compressor itself
the maf sensor
the headlight switch. (yes the entire switch that requires you to remove the steering wheel to get it off)
take the computer itself. its under the passenger kick panel.
my assumptions are based on items that are salvagable and usually the first to be gone when at a bone yard.
nice thing is all parts i mentioned can fit in one apple box...
its heavy but they fit. if you know how to pack properly......

I'd take a front swaybar link if it is the style that has a right angle.

where is she gonna scrap it?...Yota Yard is in Denver...good place...just picked up some stuff from them over the weekend...im assumin she isnt just gonna have someone crush it...but sell it to someone like Yota Yard for some $$$...if not...grab the whole thing and do that yourself...lemme know if that is where it is gonna go...i will have to swing by and check out what i can pull off it...btw...Yota Yard has everything...just go by sometime...

yeah i will ask her where she plans on taking it. she said she was to afraid to go look at it and see what damage she did, so it might be a little before this happens.

hmmm.. maybe the engine? lol. i found a 2nd gen. 4runner for 800 but it doesnt run.
