Screwing around

The other day I found and bought a sway bar relocation bracket on eBay for $16. The next day I received an email saying that the brackets were mistakenly listed due to no hardware available for them, but he would still send them to me free of charge. The hardware needed is 10mm-1.25 flat head screws. The seller said they were "rare/hard to find and very expensive".

I figured I could find them with a quick google search. After a few searches, I found many companies do not carry this screw. I did find one on eBay seller, but they want $20 for 5 screws.

Does anyone know a good place to find this elusive hardware?

What is the length?

I had a similar search, looking for a bolt for the tensioner on my supercharger. 10mm bolts usually have a 1.5 pitch, the 1.25 is tough to find, particularly with a flat head. I'll try to find the site that I found mine at. I'll post it if I can find it.

What do you mean flat head screws?

10mm x 1.25 is a bolt, I haven't seen a screw that big before. Also I don't understand why you need special hardware? Most of the relocation brackets should be pocketed to allow the factory sway bar bracket to mount flush ontop of the relocation bracket.

Like mentioned, the 10x1.25 is tough to find. Try Fastenal. They carried a couple options when I was there last looking for the same diameterXpitch

Here is a pic of the bracket. Looking at other designs they use a normal bolt, but these are countersunk.

The length, I am not sure. The bracket is 1/2 thick maybe another 1/2 so I would have enough threads engaged.
