112,000 miles ish.
but yeah ive had oil changes every 5k since ive owned it. but i will probably still do it because i am not sure about how the previous owner was on the changes.

I would def run it through the oil with that amount of miles. Also, in my opinion, with that many miles I would run 1/2 bottle in the vacuum line 1/2 in the gas tank with about a 1/4 of a tank of fuel, and another 1/2 in the oil. This will make the oil thin so you dont want to run in it the oil for very long. Again, just my opinion.

I usually just run a full bottle in the vacuum line and a full bottle in the gas tank. I figure a little more of the stuff isn't going to hurt, but again to each their own.
1 ½ ounces per quart, is a safe way to clean a crankcase per Seafoam.
From Seaforam: As a pre service cleaner for old oil residue, sticky rings or valve train noise, pour 1 ½ ounces of Sea Foam® Motor Treatment into the engine oil crankcase for EACH quart of oil capacity, including filter. Drive a MINIMUM of 30 minutes/miles, MAXIMUM 100 miles, and then do your oil change service – Lube, Oil & Filter (LOF). This begins the process of safely/slowly re liquefying the old oil residue so contaminants may flow and be filtered. This also makes your old oil dirtier, quickly, so a LOF service is necessary when the oil gets dirty. Great for Turbocharged & Supercharged applications where oils deteriorate so quickly due to heat, and leave those residues that NEED CLEANING.

Thanks for the pics and seafoam measurements, it helps me a lot. I just did mine this morning and scared a few neighbors :frisky: (sow the smoke coming out of the T4R :wow2: a lot of smoke). Do I have to watch out for anything after performing the seafoam (I did not put anything in the oil, just did the manifold and gas tank).
Also, I'm planning to do it again (seafoam - about 4k mi) when ready to change the oil (planning to put seafoam in the oil). Is it ok to repeat the seafoam process plus putting some in the oil.

Wont hurt a thing. Just make sure to change the oil within 100 miles and dont put anymore than 8 oz in the oil as previously discussed and you should be good to go!

Bout a minute or two. The more you throttle, the faster it goes away.

so in all actuality you could put the whole thing in the vaccum? wouldnt that be the more direct way??.. Iwould probably use it before a trip down the highway or somethin..
I just did 1/2 in the vacuum and 1/2 in the tank (mine was full tank when I did it). Also, I put the seafoam in a clear glass and did the sip method by this way I was able to see when the seafoam is almost done and to switch-off the car.
If just in-case your engine check and VCS light comes on after the seafoam, you just need to dis-connect the negative (-) of the battery for about 5 minutes and put it back again. This should solve the check engine and VCS light.

i purchased this the other day. gonna give it a go. i think i am gonna do 1/2 bottle in each of the 3. with a full tank. im thinking friday morning, because i have to go to work in willcox that day, 200 miles round trip on the free way. gives me a chance to gun it and burn a tank of fuel. then when i come back, i am gonna hit up the dealership for my oil change (i get em for free, and a free tire rotation every 5,000miles)
is 200 too mich? or should i do it in willcox, before i leave to come home, so its only 100 miles?

200 will be fine specially because its on the interstate. I would say once you clean it out real good don't hammer the throttle all the way home, just cruise and get it changed when you get home. Reason being, seafoam thins the oil and loosens all the "junk" in the pan. But honestly I think 200 highway miles is fine.

Yes its perfectly safe, you are detaching a non essential vacuum line with it in park. The seafoam is designed to burn and there is very little risk of backfiring. The only thing you need to watch out for is how much you are letting the engine suck up versus engine speed so as not to flood it. The engine computer will compensate for the extra fuel and the engine will be better for it.
We actually do something similar at the dealership with another product that in my opinion is not as effective as seafoam.
