Seafoamed my truck today, what next?

Thats the consensus? Really? Cause I just read through those two links and didnt find that to be the case at all.

Ok. Here's the issue with SeaFoam:

PEOPLE WILL TALK SH!T ABOUT IT NO MATTER WHAT!

There are people that will use it and have no adverse effects at all, and will swear by it.

Then, there's those people that will have a problem with their junk, hope the SeaFoam will help it, and when it doesn't they will blame the SeaFoam for breaking their junk.

Everyone is going to have different opnions of what SeaFoam does to their components in their engine.

Some will say it has no effect, others will say that it has a negative effect.

JUDGE FOR YOURSELF.

If you want to SeaFoam, do it. Find someone that has done it, and have them help you, or explain it to you.

If you have a problem with SEAFOAM, then don't. State your .02 then leave it at that.

All these people out there that say "SeaFoam does this, it doesn't do that, blah blah blah," get into a LAB and show me the proof.

Is the seamfoam treatment an efective process? This is the first time that I will to realise or perform this process. I actually have less MPG since I changed by original ones the spark plugs, the fuelfilter, the air filter, cleaned the MAF sensor and the trotlel body. I will appreciate your help.

Well, I think I am all seafoamed out. Been reading pretty much everything I can find along with suggestions from this thread. My conclusion is to pass on the seafoam in the oil as I do not believe my engine is dirty enough to need it. When I look down the oil filler hole into the valve covers its shiny, not black and funky as I have seen on numerous vehicle prior to this one being purchased. So, I'll stick with the gas and intake treatment for the seafoam. Throwing marvel mistery oil in the oil which I am familiar with and have used in the past. Little slower but just as effective over time. Thank you everyone for the input and thanks for hooking me up the bobistheoilguy.com site, good reading on that site.

Hey Cuco, the seafoam treatment in the intake and fuel tank helped my gas mileage. I am on my second tank of gas after the treatment, and I too just changed my spark plugs to twin ground plugs. (On this tank) I will post my gas milage when I empty the tank. Look down the oil filler cap into the valve cover...does it look shiny or gunky...if gunky you may want to treat your oil with something to clean up the inside of your engine. There are numerous products out, I have devices to put MMO in my oil as opposed to seafoam.
