I'm amazed that new members haven't learned "how to " search or just don't , can't , won't ? I mean when I first joined man you get ripped , did you try searching , look first you'll find the answer . IDK maybe it's just me , but everything asked has been answered probably min. 10 times and most have diy's , pics I mean little frustrating to see some of this stuff for the 100th time ! :rtfm:

I really want to lift my 4runner, what lift should I get?
I have a frozen front caliper, has this happened to anyone else?
every time I drive I get this "thunk" feeling, what is it?

Duh sorry dude can't help, haven't had this happen to my 4r yet ,just post your ? But now that you ask CAN we fit 315/70/18 w/out rubbing on stock set-up ?
 
without new members asking familiar questions, this place would be more dead than it already is.

no where near as dead as 120 and i think the atmosphere here is generally friendlier than TW, but that being said I get really bored in class and people don't post enough lol.

and edit, got bored, made a build thread on TW :whoo:

No man been plenty of posts about seat rattles and such , they just don't look . That was a great fix , I mean I'm 6'3" so I'm banging my head or moving back and forth to see under head liner . Just like my kid quick & easy , why isn't the answer before the ?

should try to be 6' 8"...... now i sit low. can see everything.
 
There's an easy solution to vBulletins crappy search that the owner can install. It's a plugin that substitutes Google search for the main search while leaving the forum specific search as it is. Why it's not being used is beyond me.
 
Not busting balls on it Chris but an example , when I needed to find out some info on my rear weatherstrip I put that in the search bar bam cpl different threads some with pics , part no., etc easy didn't take a min , course this was after getting blown up for not searching , so I quietly went about it , seemed fairly easy to me & I'm far from puter literate so I'm not smart enough to use it to point people in the right direction when finding the right post .
 
I have trouble with it sometimes and used to run a vBulletin forum and Google does a much better job that vBulletin ever will Mike. All it does is put the site in the search as has been mentioned. i.e., oljedi11950 site:http://http://www.toyota-4runner.org

To point others to a specific post you just need to copy the URL from your screen. You may have to make it visible if you can't see it now.
