Seatbelt Issue!

My drivers seat belt just locked up on me and it wont come out at all. I tried taking the panels off and fixing it but it wouldn't move an inch. Is this Fixable or will I have to replace it?

My driver's side seatbelt won't even retract anymore. It just kinda hangs there all sad and droopy.

A few years ago I tried that...had it all apart 2x on the passengers rear seatbelt but still couldn't get reliable retraction. I ended up with a junkyard replacement which is still going strong - My 8 year old has preferred the passengers side all her life so it gets used regularly....

I have, cuz you know I like to abuse myself! I couldn't get anyone to work, and put back together. It's been a while since I tried one though, maybe I'm more patient in my 50's. When I get some money I'll order a new one for my truck and try it on my old one. Wait for me...

Well thanks guys for all the input! Considering I think I would just make it worse, I'm just going to order a new one. Oh and by the way it's for a 97' SR5 4X4
