I bought a 1996 3rd GEN SR5 4 x 4 and it is in immaculate shape however the driver seat seems to be bothering my back even though he had re- stuffed. Wanted to see if anyone had those issues and if there is a seat swap suggested or is the best thing to do would to go to an upholsterer and get it re-stuffed and shaped for better support

I upgraded my 99 base model seats for 2001 SE seats with the lumbar support because it was cheap & easy (like me). They're better but not perfect. Going aftermarket will get pricey & if you can fab up brackets you can fit seats from other brands. If you search this site you'll see the guys who have done it. There hasn't been many.

I'm not real fond of our seats either....or the sunroof for that matter because of the room it takes up, my head its the headliner sometimes....but that's another thread...

Some seem to like the Sport seats better. I haven't been able to find any so I can't say if they are better for me or not.

Yep. Nothing ticks me off in the morning like messing my hair up on the way to work lol
