I am about to purchase the 1.2 Sonoran Steel lift, and need some help installing it around the Seattle area. Can anyone help with this? I want to do it myself in the case something breaks in the field, i can fix it. Thank you:ybrick:

pre assembled coil overs or are you doing the front assy yourself?

i'll come over and help you install the lift if you got the coils pre assembled,
if not i would suggest you do that, a set of spring compressors cost 40-50 bucks at least and these guys

will assemble both fronts for you for around $60.....

i actually have to pull my lift back off and go to these guys because i went through 3 pairs of spring compressors and still didn't get the coil over assembled correctly.

so long story short i need to take my lift off and put it back on (for the 4th time) and would be happy to show you how, i got it down where i basically can do each side in about 15-20 minutes for the front and about the same for the back.

we can meet in everett on saturday morning or i can come out to your's whenever, my house in stanwood is kind of crap for working on cars.

I'm down to help too, but agree with Theizzardking. Get them assembled first. It's a PITA to do it on your own.

PM me when and where you are thinking of doing this.
 
who's got a 2 car garage? or a big enough area to work on 2 of these side by side? tools?

i got one of these as well that i could bring to keep us warmer when working.

and can bring tools if needed, a biggie would be a tq wrench (imo)

and where in seattle is this guy?

worse comes to worse we can do it at my shop on the weekend here in mukilteo
but i am willing to meet anywhere for a group hug and shop session, lol
 
My friend had a huge heated shop space in Redmond with every tool imaginable. Including air tools. Could fit probably 5 of our rigs inside there. But he recently moved to Portland. I know it's worthless information now, just wanted to vent a bit to the loss of a killer space.

lol, i feel that, i got a huge shop at my work as well but there's 747 wings in the way, lol so trying to find space is a premium atm, personal spaces are always so much better!
 
I live in West Seattle and can for sure can make it up to Lynwood. I will get the coil overs assembled and then we should be in good shape. I do not have a two car garage, just a single. This is awesome, thanks!
 
I have a friend who lives in the Greenlake area. He has a two car garage and some good space in front of it. Would work pretty well I think. We'd have to bring tools though. When you figure out when you can do this, I'll ask him if we can use it. Would be in the middle of all of us I think.
 
kind of in the area

Hey I got a garage not sure if we could squeze 2 of our trucks in there but i got enough room and tools to do the job inside and in the driveway. But the only thing is I will be leaving till the end of the month or so. So if you guys dont get it done till then I am in tacoma if you want to come down here. if nothing else we should def get together when it starts to warm up and go wheeling. what do you think?
 
i'm leaving for Europe feb 16th or so for 6 months, i can meet up before this date or sometime this summer for a wheeling trip!:trophy:

cool man.. I know of one place to go to out in belfair. Its called tahuya and i went out there like last weekend. It wasnt to bad everything from beginner to intermediate. had a couple rock gardens and stuff. but its got some deeeep mud holes though. I know there is a bunch more trails in washington but i have only been to the one. Check out dirtopia.com and see what is best for yall.

my schedule is busy for the next couple of months starting this weekend but definately in the summer ill be down.
 
so just got off the phone with a good friend of mine over at JTS Parts & Accessories/ JTs Parts & Accessories, Justdifferentials.com

and he's sending me with some lc coils to get rid of if any one wants a cheap set, i'll have them at this little party so we can figure out cost and all of that there.

also he has some 35's for sale cheap as well

jt's specializes in differentials for our toyota's and are based out of cashmere/wanachee area, not a spam, just trying let you guys know about the locals in the wa that support our trucks.

Looks like we've got a tentative date of Tuesday the 25th if anyone is around. Location TBD, but hopefully it will be in the Greenlake area.
