thats nice of her and actually dont sound like that bad of an idea so we dont have to stop to figure out where we want to go and i think there is trail maps on their website ill go look now and if there is ill print off a few of them

Thanks buddy i know they will love to hear that and my father in law love to talk trash about my 4runner (in the most loving of ways) and how his truck will nmot get stuck and all that so id love to beable to shut him up lol:lmao:
 
Just seen i was mentioned in this, unfortunately me, the wife, and her 4runner are in texas. If you guys have any get togethers around christmas itd be cool to meet some of you. Ill be flying home and able to wheel my bronco
 
Hey Guys, I'm in for this Saturday. Bringing the lady, we're gonna stay out at Port Ludlow the day after and cruise around the peninsula on Sunday.

Are we just meeting at the park at 9am?
 
Not going to make it, going to do more work on the truck instead. Hopefully we can get out and do a snow run soon.
 
I think we maybe out too depending on the weather. If its nice i need to help the father in law pull the trans in his ford and start removing the back of my project and start on making the truck bed whiole i have the help to do it so if its crappy weather than we will probably be in so im at 50/50 right now:crybaby:

According to the forecast, the weather is supposed to be crappy. Like, unusually crappy even.
 
I read a few people saying it's pretty tough on the steeps when it's wet at Straddleline. I don't have a winch so not feeling super comfortable going up considering how wet it's been lately...thoughts? Who's still in?

I'm sure they will still be open, as they seem to love the mud. I don't think any of us have a winch. Seems like many have started to drop out.

I'm still in if we get people that will show up. Otherwise we might have to postpone it until spring 2015. And plan a snow run for those that are willing to risk it this winter.
 
i would be in but i got a lot of wrenching to do while i have help. im down for snow. my goal is to have the small block in the big 4runner by my b-day in feb.
But the next trip im in no matter when it is because im sad to miss this one, and after this weekend i might have 35's on my runner with the stock suspension and a new winch bumper and winch soon after ill take lots of pics
 
I've been planning on it but am a bit apprehensive due to all the rain that we've gotten and is forecast for tomorrow.

Possibly go somewhere else? I'd be game to explore some forest roads out Mtn Loop or......well....anywhere

we have a pretty active local section on Tacomaworld, several of the members have 4runners. they are trying to plan a meet as well.
