Oh nice, around the corner from me then. I'm off 164. We can meet up then roll out to the ferry that morning.
Great reminder. Most if not all Fred Meyers sell them at their customer service desk, and of course REI sells them.
Sounds good. Sounds like we might get something else before the end of Oct. Lots of interest. We'll have to keep up the momentum with the planning of outings.

Im in 100% talked to the wife she is down for our first wheeling trip for her birthday i also have 2 straps tools and a chain im bringing with as long as a couple friends and some wheelin virgins in an explorer we will see how they do hope they dont break something:rofl:

so i talked to the boss and she said no for the Oct 4th. i understand why cause i already spend time watching football saturday and sunday so i get it. so maybe next time. the funny thing is that i started the thread and i can't even go. But i am glad we are finally getting some meet ups going and i will try to make the next one. Or maybe we can have a coffee meet up somewhere in the Seattle area.

when i bought my 4runner a couple months ago i got a "Forest Pass" thinking it would let me go in all the parks.... Think i may have been tricked :boom:
Might have to look into seeing what a "forest pass" does, just ordered a "discover pass"

You got it!! I tried to take a picture one morning of the back of your vehicle but it was too blurry as you got to be a running back trying to get to the guard gate entrance. I don't go through the guard gate, but the flightline parking lot.

You probably have the Northwest Forest Pass. That's for National Parks, USGS, USDA Forest Service recreation sites in WA and OR. Pretty much all except St.Helens and Mt. Rainier. Though, I used mine the orange one at St. Helens and dude say it was accepted. Their website said it wasn't. I know it does not work at Rainier.

Where are you at in Tacoma that is my stomping grounds. My mom still lives in here house on the edge of hilltop on 15th and fife. Me and my wife moved from Hilltop to Tillicum (big upgrade i know lol)

And just to finalize its probably been said a few times i know but i dont want to search pages of posts call me lazy its ok but the 4th at 10am correct and is there a pplace at the park we are meeting up at
I am 90% in on this. The wife's mom lives on Lake Tahyua just down the road from the park, so I can make this a "visit-the-inlaws" weekend with a side trip out for some wheeling - everybody wins!

Seems like most that have responded to this thread are able to meet on a weekend and that Saturday is the preferred day.
I say we just pick a date on a Saturday, who ever can show shall, then pick another date in November to meet up again before the weather gets too crappy. And another after it gets crappy and we can go play in the snow.
