Spacer option don't seem like a bad idea for your use. I was originally going to go with spacers until I read many threads on here about people going with 5100 or OME after a few years anyway. I did not want to potentially go through the hassle of two different installs and the extra cost. I tend to go with "do it right the first time".
Spacers are cheap, cost-effective way to get an extra inch or so, I can see the appeal. That extra inch can make a world of difference I hear.
If I remember correctly Les Schwab had a decent deal with install and parts for the Daystar spacer kit.

Yeah I really want to go with the full kit. But spacers are just 140 on Amazon, so I would need to see what total install would be.

So I know I have dropped off the radar for the last month or so. Been really busy with work and travel. Coming home to the upper left USA in two weekends. I know we discussed a cars and coffee type thing on November 22. Is there still interest in this? Love to get together with you guys before I head out from WA for a while again.

Wait what? Why would you need more height and larger tires to get to stevens? The roads are always clear enough for my friend's lowered Audi to get there even in the deepest of storms, and my stock 06 never had a problem...
i never go out there so i was posing the question.

there is not a resort in the PNW that will be height limited for a 4runner. The only noticeable improvement would be running dedicated winter tires in the stock size or narrower

In the words of Monty Python "I'm not dead yet." This seriously was not how I intended the week to end. I am down in Renton but should be able to drive a reasonable distance to Kirkland or Bellevue or Seattle. Wife is driving me up from California this weekend. Looking to keep it lower key than a trail run since tactical trail driving would be tough with the 4 new whack-a-mole holes in my abdomen lol
Yeah i know how you feel i had mine removed in late July. I was back to work in 5 days.

Ha I am at least getting 2 weeks.
I didn't want to use my vacation at work. But I felt good after 5 days. But u will find out pretty quick what u can and can't eat anymore.

not trying to be a pain but hows that centralized when most people that i hear on here live up north. im ok with going down there but just thought i would mentioned that, luckily washington doesnt play until 7:30pm so traffic shouldnt be too bad.

Well I don't know where everyone lives, but I think by centralized he means between Everett and Tacoma, which Seattle is.
