Seattle area 4Runner Meet Up anyone?

I think a few of us have "driven" around that place. From what I could tell, it's not really setup for 4Runner's anymore. Big as$ boulders and the trails that would be suitable for 4Runners have been blocked/closed off. Apparently people were just going up and trashing the trails so whichever authority that operates this ORV closed them off.

Too bad, looks like it was a fun place.

Well damn that sucks big time its always the few who ruin it for the many. So its basically for built rigs not stock or little built rigs

[MENTION=100172]Jim82[/MENTION] My wife got ahold of some guys on the ole facebook who just went out to walker valley a couple weeks ago and they said if you can get past the first set of rocks at the gate than you can do most of the lower trails. That being said me and my bro in law are doing my lift this weekend so in the next few week ill take my runner and his truck up there and do some scouting for us and see how bad it really is

That's the report I've received from another member on here. Trent said that if you get around the big rocks you'll be fine. But, yeah, let us know your assessment. Sounds like it was a fun place to go before someone F'ed it up for the rest of us.

I'll ring or email the DNR contact official for Walker Valley and see what's what with that place and them ever removing the rocks or alternate routes.

Sorry for the short notice, but, [MENTION=110014]shufly09[/MENTION] and I will be going to the Mountain Loop Highway between Darrington and Granite Falls. This place is filled with Forest Service Roads, and not to the level of "difficulty" as a place like Tahuya (which isn't difficult). Very stock friendly, however, there is snow, so crappy tires might not do so well. As it is a National Forest, there are areas to shoot your rifles, shotguns and handguns.

Date: Wednesday, 10 DEC 2014
Time: 0900
Location: Mt. Baker - Snoqualmie National Forest / Mountain Loop Scenic Byway
Fee: This is a National Forest, WA Discover Pass does not cover this forest. However, there is no fee for driving about. Northwest Forest Pass is required if you are going to park and hike or use the picnic tables.

We'll be meeting at 0900, in Lynnwood then heading to Granite Falls to start the loop.

Midweek, so I know most will be unable to join. Let us know if you would like to come along. Super short notice, but of course, all are welcome.

I wish i could go but the T4R's rear driver side spring is all messed up, twisted and out of its perch or whatever that holds it in place on the underside of body
