Seattle area 4Runner Meet Up anyone?

My buddy and I are planning to go out on Presidents Day.

Date: Monday, 16 FEB 2015
Time: TBD based on location
Location: TBD Tahuya? Elbe? Capital Forest? Stampede? Tinkham Rd? I have a call out to the Rangers in Cle Elum. Hopefully they get back to me and report on the actual conditions of the Salmon La Sac trail. Any other ideas???

Sorry for the lack of a location as I'm sure that will factor in to the decision of some. I'm thinking Tahuya will be the safe bet, guaranteed place to have fun.

Tahuya it is-

Guess I great overestimated how many people would have the Federal holiday off...I hope y'all working are at least getting 1.5 x pay; or a "floating" holiday some other time.

Gonna go to Tahuya, my buddy has not been in a while.

1000-1015 at the dirt lot across the street from the gate. Hope many of y'all can make it. I realize that with Tahuya being across the sound it might turn a few people off, I do hope for everyone to join in on the experience.

I've spent the last 3 days or so calling around and looking for snow, none to really be had; and those that do are closed.

I should be able to go. Spending today trying to get the brakes working correctly on the 4runner. who all is heading from seattle? Anyone want to follow each other?
 
Wish I could have been there but I just got a new job and I also have to work. If I didn't have to work I would have been in Vegas anyway for Valentine's day gift from my wife.

I think I took one wrong turn on my way out... Took me about 15 minutes from the time I split from you guys. Even trying to avoid the gate I somehow ended up at it... Got to pavement at about 1:05 and was aired up and headed home by 1:15.

BARELY made my 4 o'clock appointment due to traffic in Tacoma... :frusty:
