A wilson sent that to me yesterday. I would get it but the wife is already freaking out cuz I have been spending so much on the rig.. lol..

Nice score though.

It irritates me because I make the most money, I pay all the bills and we aren't hurting. She's freaking out like I'm putting us in debt. Irritating. w/e. She has the v***** so she's the boss.

One of my close friends almost got a divorce from his wife over money. They ended up going to counseling for it and it completely saved their marriage. She was always on him about his spending on toys like surfboards and snowboards. In turn he would try to argue about her spending on clothes and such to no avail. In the end, the best suggestion that worked was that they sat down and worked out their monthly budget. This included mortgage, food, bills, retirement, etc etc. The last thing they set aside was an amount of money for both parties. Say $200 each for example. That $200 was free for each of them to spend how they wished. They could save it for something bigger or just blow it the day they got it. Both say that alone helped the most. It took the feeling away from her that he was spending money that could be used elsewhere.

in all honesty this is great advice. J and i do this(or at least try to do this) but right now with me not working our spending has really been cut short, but yeah we both try to take time and sit down and do the budget together. look into Dave Ramsey's ways Dave Ramsey Homepage - daveramsey.com the guy is such a genius(and really its all common sense). check it out(not trying to say you and PT are having troubles or issues with money cause this helps even when things are going fine -they can always be better) live like no one else so later you can live like no one else... sell so much stuff the kids think they are next...

Yeah, finances are a leading cause for divorces. Especially these days. Glad they got it worked out.

It is good advice. We aren't on the rocks or anything and I'm not in the dog house by any means. She just worries about me spending money on things that aren't an absolute necessity, esp with me getting out of the army in a month.. lol But I'm not spending aton all the time its just little things here and there.

And don't worry she doesn't look at the forum.

glad someone on the forum got the exhaust. I just put one on recently, and its surprisingly loud.

I need some advice guys. I went and finally put on the tundra/890 parts I had. The thing sits way high now, and is mega raked. I put the fronts on the lowest setting and it measures 37 to the arch. The 890s rear sit 38.5 to the arch.

Im not even crazy about the front arch to tire gap so I'm thinking I need 33s to make it look decent. 33s more $, more gas, etc. So go 285s? eh...

I think where I am going, uninstall the kit and put back on the 99 springs. I like how it rides with the tundra/890 set up but I dont like the looks. Looks pretty bad in my eyes right now with the ass so high and the small tires.

If I go back to 99 talls what shocks should I get? Sonoran is recommending tokico shocks. I was thinking something bilstein....

If you decide on going back to the 99's, I would be interested in buying your coils.

As far as shocks, I have always loved Bilsteins... Tokicos are very well liked on our 4Runners, but if given the chance, I personally would get the Bilsteins.

Just the coils, not the dampers? Which coils..
