This one was up by Evans too. The guy who survived hiked 8 miles barefoot to Carbonado for help. The guy who died was found 500 feet down the hill from the vehicle. Eek. It looked like a 4runner actually.

I'd like to do a snow run but I'd prefer Stampede. More roads out there. The next weekend I'm free is Thanksgiving weekend.

Evans Creek ORV Park (Directions inside)
We did the 102 trail last time, and others have done 520 - would like to explore other trails.

At the main entrance is a large staging area. Northwest Forest passes are required for the park and it is not uncommon to see enforcement officers checking for them. Trails are numbered and marked for difficulty as well as type of vehicle. Evans Creek offers plenty of challenge and lots of beautiful scenery, with viewpoints of Mount Rainier that are hard to beat. Due to the fact that the trails in Evans Creek are tight and twisty we would not recommend it for large rigs.
Requirements:
Pass Needed? YES
Northwest Forest Pass
Expect cold weather - please dress and plan appropriately for the worst.
Please also plan to air down - there is an air pump just a few miles away from the trail head at the gas station. 15 PSI is a good place to start.
BRAIN, CB, Front and Rear Recovery Points, 32" MT or AT tires with good tread. Some is lift required. Recommend skids and armor. Reliable, Maintained vehicle. No Full Size Rigs recommended. This trail is narrow in sections.

On the 102 trail, some of the stock guys were making it, but I think there were a few signs of trail character on the rigs. We can wait to see if a few more people list interest and we can always split into two groups depending on trail desires.

I was one of those guys, the only damage i really got was a few scratches on the front bumper and on a rear fender flare. There was one spot where my mudflaps were folded back from a tree root but no damage.

man... you all think im made of $$$(lol), id love too, but i have to get fire wood for me family and my parents. work has been swamping me with services, we actually had to give some away this last week we had so many, and with veterans day there is no way i can get off this weekend to go wheeling
