Seattle Area Maintenance and Meet

I'm out for saturday, but I really want to get up and do some snow, I was thinking Tinkham some time, maybe we could make a round 2 sometime.

:nono:look pal, how long did it take you to get those sliders on... if i remember correctly they have spent almost as much time in your living room as a make sift coat rack, as they have on your truck... so lets just simmer down there :jk:

Hey. They were a cool art deco piece that I didn't want to get rid of until I found a worthy replacement.

I think the bumper looks a lot better than shrockworks or the 4xinnovations that I was looking at... need to find someone to make it. I could do it at my dads, but it would probably take me forever and I'd have to get some dies for the thin plate.
 
he said he was too busy to design something and recommended me buy from them! - its a bent up brand bumper, but they are out of business so thats not a possibility.
 
is perkins performance still in business? (PUYALLUP)

that guy was really good, had his own shop, he did my taco plate bumper
 
Going to pick up my second Toyota, first T4r today, stock with a locker, anyone want to do some light snow wheeling Tuesday?
 
Hey, guys, a newbie here, directed to you from the newbie thread, with an inherited classic '87 4Runner which needs a lot of work to resurrect. We are in south King County, can you refer us to a good, reputable shop which specializes in Toyota 4WD if possible? We can do simple stuff, but looks like what's going on is beyond our DYI capabilities. Thanks.

These may be out of the range but I suppose too many options are never a bad thing.
There is Len's automotive recommended to me by Hepar. They replaced my rear shocks and did an overall inspections for a great price considering they are in Redmond.
Olympic 4x4 is a great place too but up in Snohomish county.

Good luck and hope to meet up someday and get it dirty!

Any pics? Keep an eye open in here, usually people trying to go every couple of weeks for some type of wheeling.
 
Hey guyyyyyss....It's not wheeling, but this Sunday at Pacific Raceways is the Annual NW Toy Run, for Toys for Tots. It is between 12-4 and I will be there in my company booth. Last year there was a turnout of I believe 2200 and this year is bound to be bigger! If you're not busy, come down, check out a lot of cool cars, bring an unwrapped toy or cash to donate and hangout! There will be several raffles to enter with the donation of a toy! It's for a really good cause, I really can't imagine a kid not having something to unwrap on Xmas day! Alright, got my buddy thinking he wants to help me draw it up, got ok to use a fab shop equipment and some rems. Probably can enlist my brother to make pretty welds (pipe fitter).

I feeling pretty confident I can make this happen.

I actually am an engineer, but fab is a skill I don't really have. Most complex thing I ever made was an engine transport cradle for an S54 I blew up.

Now to think about what thickness plate I need.
