Im down to do some sort of a trip, I think we should have some sort of a T4R Spring meet? Who's down? I can help set that up in people want to do it/ something not too complex, like a bbq meet up or maybe even go on some sort of a trail.....?

I'm looking to do some wheeling this summer, and i wanted to see if you guys have any ideas for a first time wheeling noob like me to try out! My 4runner is stock and will be till probably july until i get a lift and some bigger tires.

I would be down for something, I like the BBQ and trail run idea over for a Spring run. I only have a 3inch, 32inch and soon a front bumper so it would need to be something on the milder end.

Went out to the coast and played in the sand yesterday during the last clam dig. I had fun lots of people stuck in the sand, pulled a couple out. Still wanting to do a meet soon

No... Unfortunaly my wife was taking pics and she lost her phone somewhere in the sand we looked for alkost two hours before we left... Some awsome pics of me dragging mini vans out

I honesty would just buy new. Mathematically, it makes sense. When you buy a tire, you don't use 100% of the tread. Lets just say for arguments sake you use a tire till 20%. If you buy new, you'll use 80% tread. 1/2 tread tires might sell for 1/2 price, but then you're really only getting 30% of useable tread, and that's not even the best traction for mud, etc. You might do better financially to refresh the new tires at 50% anyway.

annual overland rally in plain coming up next month, i'll probably be there. this is a paid event, $75 for the weekend, camping,food and raffles..last year the highlight was special permissions from the owners and USFS to drive up to trinity and explore up there, old ghost town.
