4 Wheel Parts is hosting a Customer Run to Walker Valley Off Road Park This Sunday Aug. 10th. Meet at 4 Wheel Parts in Lynnwood at 8am, leaving at 9am, with a stop at the "McChevron" on the way to Walker Valley.

I might go tomorrow. A couple people from my club are going. Thought you guys might want to know about it.

I need to replace the bearings on my rear axles and will be unable to do the work myself as I lack the space and the cost for the tools/press would be more than than the shop rate (likely).

I am hoping for a good recommendation on a shop that can do the work well and keep the cost reasonable.

Appreciate any help in advance!

ALSO, if you happen to know a good welding place I have sliders I need to get installed also heh.

The guys at Badland Bumpers will weld on a set of sliders for $75 flat.

Talked to Badland and he quoted 100 for the welding which will work great.

Email Torfab and they actually have another shop do the press work. Since I will have the axles out myself they gave their info.

Dan at Northwest Differential in Kirkland. The phone number to his shop is 425-827-2868.

They charge an hourly rate for the work, but estimated (based on the work they have done before) at about $75 per side. They are able to pull all the retainers/ring off but will require at least 1 new retainer per side (for the sealing surface).

Way better than I expected!!

Hey everyone - I just grabbed a stock 2000 Limited 4Runner (photos below) and am looking for a good shop to install a lift (likely SS 1.2) and Tundra brakes since I have neither the space nor tools to do it myself (live in Seattle w/o a garage). The tires are almost done (3/32nd left) so will swap them at the same time. Any suggestions on where to go?

I don't think the guys at Badlands like me for whatever reason... After months of no returned calls they quoted me $150. Told me too call and schedule an appt... Called, left message, no response.

Any chance you guys got your factory skids layin around? My runner didn't have them when I bought the truck? I went wheeling @ crystal lake a month ago and went to check clearance, both skids were not there. Mahalos in advance.

@busmup808 we just missed a great deal on CL yesterday. Someone was selling one of these for $100 delivered to Seattle / $75 Picked up somewhere north.

As long as we're talking about decent people, I'd say the more the merrier.

I think I am the only one with a CB, and for whatever reason it hasn't been working too well lately. Ever since I removed my antenna to go through a car wash it has been a pain in my rear.

As of now there are 7 Tacos and 4 T4Rs going not including the other guys you mentioned. That's a BIG group but I'm sure we could handle a couple more if they want to come. My only real concern is finding a large enough area to camp in, but I'm sure we'll find something.
