The 7th Injector kit is a pretty simple install, really. If you're not wanting to do it yourself though, my good friend Vitaly works up at Torfab fulltime now and is a wiring guru... He's doing their custom harnesses for the vortec swaps on landcruisers. If for some reason Auburn Offroad doesn't want to mess with that, give them a call.

Hey guys!
Just found this thread after poking around a bit. I recently picked up my 2002 SR-5 4runner and I have been researching lifts and other mods. I have seen a few people recommend Auburn Car Repair & Offroad. It looks like it is just down the road from me in Kent too. I see they offer Toytec and Icon suspension kits there, but does anyone know if they install other kits? I was looking into the Sonoran Steel 1.2 kit, and was looking to get it installed by someone who knew what they were doing. I guess I will call and ask tomorrow, but he sounds like a solid place to have work done. I know that some places would rather not install kits that they don't carry due to them not making money on the parts.
I want to pick up some new tires soon because the ones that came on my rig don't have a ton of tread on them and look rather pedestrian. But in order to get the tires that I want, I need to be able to fit them.
Anyway, I am glad to see so many people active on this forum in the area and I look forward to maybe meeting up with you guys down the road to check out some trails.

John installed my SS1.2 kit about 4 months ago. Everything was done well and it still feels rock solid. Its pricey, but if you're like me and not comfortable messing around with mission critical suspension/ brake components then its a great option.

If you need help, you can do it @ my house. I installed mines in 2hrs by myself with no air tools. Not hard to do!

Thanks for the offer! After I pull the trigger on the lift, I might drop you a line. I am still working out all the details of lift>(maybe wheels)>tires. Of course, lift first, then I can sort out the rest. What lift did you go with?

If you guys have the 1.2 lift, does the rear being higher than the front feel odd?

I don't have the 1.2 lift, but my rear is a bit higher than my front. It doesn't feel (or look) odd at all. I just needed to aim my headlights up a little bit.
John @ Auburn Offroad will install anything you take him. Great place. They'll be closed next week though as they're all heading down to Moab.

I didn't buy my lift @ SS, but I have the same. YY/YB w/BILSTEIN up front with the FJ80 front spring in the rear/ landcruiser rear OME shocks.

I had the SS 1.2 lift and I had quite a bit of rear rake. Looked a little odd at first but once I got bigger tires it looked fine to me.

hey gents anyone in the puyallup tacoma area wanan give me a hand installing my lift. its the toytec spacer lift. had it for awhile just never had time to mess with it. also anyone wanna go play up out of greenwater and a naches tavern run
