Do you have any bigger pics of your 4Runner? Curious if I have seen you around. I am also in the Bellevue area.
 
Okay cool! Still trying to figure out how to add more photos. Yeah I have seen you around an spoken to you a couple times at Toyota of Bellevue. I run the accessory department there. I just recently moved to Renton from downtown Bellevue couple months back . As creepy as it sounds my desk looks out over 148th and I see your runner with the tent roll by all the time. killer rig!

[MENTION=63487]A.Wilson013[/MENTION] If you don't mind me asking what CV Boots you are running? Going to be getting the Toytec boss lift, but not wanting to always have blown out CV's. Anyway around it?

I actually run autozone CV's right now... When I lifted mine my OEM boots tore immediately so I replaced them with these and kept the OEM's as spares. No issues yet.

A lot of people talk about getting "CVJ" axles which apparently have a longer boot or something... I haven't needed to look into them thus far.

I remember talking to you at Michael's now. That was the last time I went in there with the intention to buy parts. Absurd the markup they add. TOK and Renton both beat their prices by a CONSIDERABLE margin, even after figuring in fuel. And the wait for an oil change? No thanks. Renton has me in and out in a little over an hour without an appointment. Michael's is 2+ hours WITH an appointment. That's enough of that rant...

I'm going to give the CVJ's a shot here. I've been using Napa CV's and I just tear boots left and right. Going to swap those for a couple new ones for spares and run the CVJ's.

Almost ready to explore, need to get my new springs on my coilovers, my SCS F5 wheels should be here this week, and then I'll get some Cooper STMaxx mounted on those.

I use the Silverstar Ultra's. I like their light output, but their lifespan isn't the greatest.

Keep me posted on the cv's. I've got one currently that needs replacing again.
 
Mine diff side cv's are both torn, but we just signed a dealer license with ToyTec so I have a boss lift on the way and will replace all at the same time. Just wanted to see what people were running. Should be getting my rear bumper back from Linex today so I will post pictures.

On a side note. Anyone done anything to their gas tank skid? Thinking of getting that linex'd next.... thoughts?
