Yeah I know him, he got a low mileage rig not too long ago.

I'd join you for a couple legs. Maybe Hwy 12 north to Wenatchee or something.

Wabdr is a great choice. Spring is just around the corner so stay tuned...

Spring would be tough to complete the WABDR with a few points being over 6000' elevation. We did in it August I think and it was awesome.

I think with this winter so far, the WABDR probably won't be doable(the whole route anyway) until at least late may/early june. We were up on Bethel Ridge last memorial day, but we had record low snow that winter. I'd be willing to meet for a couple legs with Alex...got a pretty full summer planned already.

Any of you able to recommend a spot to get it done for a reasonable price? I felt like I was getting waxed with the quotes in the Washington DC area (>$1200), but Seattle might be pricy as well.

little north of Seattle, but you might try 8-Velocity Motorsports off 99 in lynnwood. haven't been there in a long while but they always took care of me. Tommy, the head mechanic, is easy to deal with & does solid work

Get ahold of TorFab in Everett. One of their techs is a 3.4 expert, has done countless 3.4 swaps, and has worked exclusively on Toyotas for as long as I've known him (10 years or so?).

Knock Senors

Hey guys. West Seattlite here. I have a 2000 4 Runner, 3.4 and I am in need of replacing my Knock Sensors. She has the TRD Supercharger installed. Any ideas on how in depth this job is? Supercharger removal, sensor replacement etc. Any thing else I should consider doing while I have the upper parts off? I am no certified mechanic but I can turn a wrench. How about advice on where to get the sensors and wire pigtail?
