On a nicer note you didn't explain yourself completely. Are you wheeling this rig hard? Weekend warrior? Once a month or just DD? All these guesting come to play when buying for the right reasons. All that you mentioned are all good brands to choose from.

For all that went last year to the NW OVERLAND, was there places on premises to shower or you have to walk/drive distance?

Or you can have an out door shower you can bring to use. Mahaloz in advance

Great! I am hoping to meet some people off this forum while we are there.

Last year, I drove in with our stock rig, thinking it would just be fun to see some of the stuff people outfitted their vehicles with. I left with a list of stuff I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT! I am about half way through that list, and can hardly wait to see how many thousands of dollars more I can commit to with what I no doubt will add to that list this year.

I will look for you.

Lol! Yeah, I'll be out there again. Considering just bringing cash so once it's gone I'll stop buying things. Being intoxicated next to all those vendors was an expensive mistake last year.

Last year they said they had A shower, but I never saw it.

You can bring and outdoor one to use at your site, or you can drive down to Lake Wenatchee (5 or 10 minutes) where they have coin operated showers. If you choose the latter, bring quarters.

Still looking for a shop/someone to replace the clutch in my SR5 - does your friend's shop do clutch work? Just had a new ms/sc put in but throwout bearing is bad/going bad so I want to go ahead and just do a new clutch + flywheel on my '96 mt. Thanks!

I've never done it, but nwjeepn has it listed as an "easy" trail. Since they consider Hole in the Rock out at Liberty a "More Difficult" trail, I'd be surprised if the Naches Pass Trail was more than a dirt road, lol...

Yes and no. I've done it a lot of times , but I never was the leader. There are parts where there are harder lines. All the times I went was with my FJ80. It was not locked, but it had a 4" lift on 35s with armor/sliders/skids. I always went during the wet seasons, but it fairly dry and you shouldn't have a problem if your lifted/locked

Also, can't wait till my busy work season dies down a bit. I want to try to get out and hit a few trails and camp a bit before we settle back into our normal weather pattern. Where do you guys get your windshields replaced? I had pretty decent luck with All Star Auto Glass when I had to replace a rear cargo area window. My front windshield is a friggin magnet for rocks on I-5. I think glass shops must drive around at night and have bags of rocks that they drop all up and down the state to drum up business.
