Cool! Thanks for the heads up. I am not sure if I will end up cranking on the COs to adjust ride height with larger tires and winch. But every time I go into Firestone I just feel like they want to do the minimum adjustment and hurry me out of there, because they mistakenly booked FOUR people for the SAME TIME and now need to cut corners somewhere to make back time that they can never make back to keep appointments moving along. LOL. I think the last time I went in, I was saying, well, maybe last time was a fluke and the shop was having an "off" day. Nope. They really are terribad.
How are you liking your KM2s? Have you had them long? I heard somewhere that they were going to redesign the KM2s to update them to KM3s. There is a picture somewhere that shows them to have a similar updated sidewall to the KO2s and perhaps a bit more sipping. Anyway... Looking good!

Had the tires from 4-26-16. Good so far. Wheeled it about 6x and nothing bad to say. I really want a snow rated tire that has a thick sidewall to go wheeling. The Duratracs I had before this set was the best tire I had, but the sidewall sucked. On my 1st run being out in Oregon, I managed to slice a 5" long gash to the sidewall. I didn't see till the next day when I was washing all the mud off

Just got some km2's two weeks ago. Liking them so far for sure, haven't wheeled them yet but they look cool.
Waiting for the snow to melt, don't like wheeling in snow anymore.
Also bought the Firestone lifetime alignment but the first one was so bad I haven't ever gone back. Tried once and they told me 3 hour wait time. They purposely make it a pain so you won't come back.

Hey guys, I know I'm technically in the wrong forum but wanted to thank whomever suggested Mule Expedition Outfitters in Issaquah in this thread. I had to search the forum for a few minutes to find a Seattle area lift installer after not having luck with a standard google search. Anyway, a shop in Auburn had quoted me about $550 to install the Daystar spacers and Mule quoted $150. Thanks again!

$150 is cheap. Spacers front and rear? That's a steal.
It was. Which seemed to be an average-ish rate, so now I'm second guessing myself wondering if I communicated clearly enough to Mule what I wanted done over the phone. I will confirm and let you guys know if I've given bad info.

I feel like I have shared the horror story of Joe and I's coilover and shock rebuild too many times.
Cliff notes: Guaranteed they would be done by a date multiple times, and missed it every time. Told me they had been started and would be done monday (on a friday) and on monday they had not been started. After weeks of this (and about a half dozen trips to Auburn to pick them up on the guaranteed dates), they were done. However, one was pissing oil by the time I got home, and was like a pogo stick (I uploaded a video of this way back when...). I ended up having to pay to have them rebuilt again.
I don't have time for that type of dishonesty and, in my opinion, disrespect for customers.
I know [MENTION=74071]Brilliant[/MENTION] has also had a less than stellar experience with them and the install of his headers, but that's not my business to share.

Anyway, I followed up with Mule and the person I talked to on the phone originally thought I wanted just the front spacers installed hence the $150 quote. I spoke to one of their people this morning and she said it would end up being around $350 for the front and rear install. Still a lot better than the Auburn quote but not quite as cheap as I had originally hoped.

If I were you I would recommend just having them do the from.
The rear is an hour job. unbolt the lower bolt on the shock, disconnect the swaybar, and articulate the axle enough to get the spring in/out. You may need to compress the spring to get the spacer in if it's a big one, but I doubt it.
The value of your time may be greater than a couple hundred bucks. Everyone's different

They just pissed and moaned a lot, took a couple extra days. They maybe figured it was an easy job, and then complained when they had to do the job they were paid to do.

Is this installation only or parts only...... That's stupid cheap. I'm like $699.00 parts and labor on a similar to daystar spacer. this also includes an alignment and 1yr 12k warranty.
