its horrible and tragic what happened to this family and I can't imagine what their loved ones must be going through, but I find it hard to believe that the investigators know that the stuck gas pedal is probably the cause of the accident. According to records the car was up to date on all recalls. Could it ever possibly be driver error? We will never know. Could it have been conditions on the road or something intangible? Possibly. But to say that the pedal is likely the cause is kind of ridiculous. A mechanical malfunction will be blamed for the death of these people even though they weren't wearing their seatbelts. There were two survivors who were wearing their seatbelts and they survived. Maybe just maybe if they were wearing their seatbelts they would have survived and the accident would be because the driver lost control of the car. But they died so it must be the cars fault. I'm sorry if this comes of harsh but investigators and journalists are so quick to find someone to blame they don't always look at the big picture.
