Serp Belt Squeeling constantly now '03 V6

Really? I've never heard that the V6 has any such issue. I think it is extremely rare from what I've seen.

I'm on my 3rd belt in 55K miles. The last one only lasted 10K miles before it started squealing when cold. I asked the dealer to check the pulleys and tensioners (said they were fine), then forced them to replace it free because the last one they put on lasted so little time.

LOL, spraying lube on your belt and pulleys? Old time mechanics dribbled soapy water on noisy belts to determine if it was the belts or the pulleys squealing. It's kind of messy, you don't want to be standing in line with the pulleys. Spray belt dressing is a much more civilized way. If it's a belt squealing, you should get a momentary increase in squeal followed by quiet. If it's a bearing, you should get no change.

If you did get lube on your belt and pulley, the soapy water can clean it off. If you replace the belt after getting lube on it, make sure you clean the pulleys.

If your pulleys are not aligned you can usually see it visually, maybe use a straightedge to visualize the alignment. Smooth pulleys don't need to be aligned, but grooved or V pulleys do.

Is the noise more of a squeal or more of a chirp?

Is it noticeably worse when wet?

Mine chirps for about 60 miles after going through a car wash. Chirps faster/louder with more RPMs.

I told the dealer about this and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it.
