Can also try Toy Connection in Santa Clara.
How are they? I am taking my 17' there next week to install some used Pro suspension I picked up for 650. They told me install would run 150 to 200.

I've found Toy Connections to be a bit of a mixed bag. This is not a bash, just my personal experience. I'm not sure who's installing their suspension but it took an hour and a half for one of their guys to pull a driveshaft out of a cruiser for me. It was parked in front so by happenstance I could watch him the whole time while I waited, it was kind of ridiculous. I know other business owners who use/recommend them regularly, but have also talked to someone who got their vehicle back with parts loose under the hood.
I've personally only used them for parts and consider them a valuable resource for that. $200 seems like a reasonable install price, it's just shocks and struts right? $150 is definitely reasonable. My only recommendation would be to make sure everything's buttoned up afterwards, maybe check your upper balljoint boots and cv boots to make sure they didn't get damaged during the install.. that's an inspection I'd do regardless of who worked on it.
Anyone have a recommendation near the East Bay (San Ramon)? Trying to get Bilstiens and a Daystar 2.5/1.5 kit installed on a 08 Runner. Thanks
I'm surprised no one mentioned Mudrak. I know it's all the way up in Sonoma, but this guy is pretty popular with the LC community. Mudrak Custom Cruisers Sonoma, CA
Where is a good place to do alignments where they let you choose your numbers?
Toyota dealers and most places like Firestone only do factory alignments and they only get it in the ball park even if the numbers are not ideal.
I know everyone says Custom Alignment Mountain View but they charge $250 and there is a waiting list.
Been to SWAT for my lift. Good shop, but a bit pricey IMHO. Talk to Ken at CK Auto in San Jose.
Good reviews. Mostly do audio work, but they installed my FrontRunner Slimline II roofrack and have confidence they can do more. Probably less of the stuff with lifts and more of the electrical work.

Auto Innovation in Milpitas will let you choose your settings
Would you trust them with stereo work? I’ve got some things to sort out on the cruiser that I’d rather have pro’s do.
Every once in a while I get customers in San Fran looking for someone to install our 4th and 5th gen lifts. If anyone of you would want to help a customer, I'm sure they would be happy to fund your time also, Let me know.
Hit up Milogen fabrications in Milpitas. He does great work.
