Hey ya'll thought I'd drop in and see if we could put our heads together and narrow down my current issue. So I have a 93 Runner, she's been lifted with 33's, not much else done performance wise. I've had her 2 yrs and she's been great until about 4 months ago. I took her to a shop for a basic tune and a few other minor fixes. After having her on the road for a couple months, she started shaking in the front in pretty bad. So there she sat until a saved a few pennies and took her to a local shop. They said she wasn't firing on all cylinders, and the cap and rotor were trash. So they did there thing and back on the road she went. I took her out mudding last Saturday and took her through some decent trails, had to recover a few vehicles, but nothing too crazy, as soon as I headed out on the hardball BAM, back to shaking and a metal on metal sound. Now I haven't really gotten under her to shake things around and see if anything is loose, just wanted to see if anyone has had a similar issue. Sounds like its comin from the front diff back to the transfer case. Thanks for reading hopefully someone can point me in the right direction, getting tired of taking her in. Stay Muddy!
