Thanks for the link. My old link to these parts doesn't work anymore I think. I saw a new one in there that I'd never seen before. Does anyone you know have this rear bumper piece from the "NEW RUGGED VERSION". I just must not have noticed it before. I want it....I can't afford it, but I kinda want it. Although, I think it would look best on a silver 4runner. I would probably want to paint parts of it black.

the headlights will probably just be h7 or h3 projectors like the GX and the acura MDX. not real HIDs, but it'll be easy to put real HIDs in those projectors.

Not need HID for SUV....Its TOYOTA's Policy in Japan(USA ?)
We install after-market HIDs too,

Yah I know, If its H7 thats good, I had modified factory lexus HIDs on my celica that had H7, and it was a perfect spectrum of light.

Rear fog lights

I don't think anyone has asked our Japanese friends about this yet.
What arrangement is used for the rear "fog" lights on the Surf, specifically: light bulb part number; bulb socket part number; is it independently activated and if so the type of switch used?

I should have explained more why I'm asking. There seems to be a concern with heat from a regular bulb. Although I haven't had a problem at 21/8W, I wouldn't mind clearing up the question of what wattage bulb is used by OEM and how it is configured. Is it a seperate switch, is it linked to the front fogs, etc...

How many watts is the 8121OC bulb?

Where is the Rear fog SW (switch) mounted?

Also, I noticed in your great pics that all the Surf's have a small side marker light in the upper rear of the front fenders, ahead of the doors.

What is the part # / bulb # / wattage / clear or amber?

Rear fog SW mounted No.7(red circle),

Japan Surf's small side lights is Turn signal,
Clear lens & amber bulb 5W,
This is Japanese regulation(Side turn signals)

hey you guys have switches on both side of the steering column. we have 4 on one side

do you have a seperate switch neer the rear fog switch, for the front fog lights? or is the switch on the headlight switch?

Wide Fender. Does it means that Toyota is going to change tire size?
LED Tailights - ??? How they will look like? Are they the same size/shape? Would I be able to exchange my OEM with those ones without drilling hols and etc.?
Projector Low beam. Defenetly will change the look. The question is: what actually the difference beetween normal light system (what we have right now) and projector one? Different Light pattern, wattage, ...?

Thanks for the update. The 4157 bulb I'm using is also 21W therefore there shouldn't be a heat issue since this is what Toy is using OEM.
