I gotta admit...I clicked on this thread thinking to myself, "is this kid fuhking serious?" but I've got to say...this is freakin' amazing!

You've obviously got some talent as the end result speaks for itself. So as to preserve it, perhaps get the entire hood wrapped in clear/transparent vinyl or 3M protective film?

I assume you do some art on other media. If so, what other media do you use and any other pics of some other stuff?

Sharpie already has the best advertisement campaign ever, a whole site dedicated to user made content.

i use every kind of media i can get my hands on but i'm mostly a photographer and graphic artist.

that's is very good work there. I thought about doing the same thing to my rear spoiler on the hatch with a silver sharpie or painting it white first and using a black sharpie. Did you clearcoat it after or just leave it?

He said no clearcoat just a layer of wax

I don't know where you live, but in Florida, that sharpie would fade fast.
I use sharpies on pipes, rails, etc.... to mark things at work. The sun fades it pretty fast.
If you really want it to last, put some kind of UV protectant over it.

Nice work! I can't draw a straight line with a ruler, so I can really appreciate nice artwork.

I had my Scion tC in a car show 2 years ago & a Scion xA had this done to there hood it was flipping sick looking. I would so do this to mine if I know how to draw.
