One of my lug nut bolts sheared off today... Didn't think that would be possible but then again I have seen stranger things. What's the fix for this?

Loosening... Just breaking it before lifting off the ground. How do I go about getting the individual stud out?

it depends on whether it was the front or the rear. If it is the rear you need to pull the axle shaft out and press in a new stud, not that hard... if it was the front, you will need to try to get the stud out of the wheel unit bearing. Usually if you havent replaced the unit bearing for a good while, 60K or so miles you could just replace it and it would have all new studs and bearings. I did this on my jeep wrangler, rather than try to take apart the unit bearing.
A shop might charge you a couple hundred to replace it but it can be done if you have a HF press (10ton). on the rear axle if you cant get it pressed out you might have to take it to a shop if they are too long or stuck too hard.

Pull the rotor off punch out the broken one put in a new one , almost any tire shop should handle this .

Mine is drivers side rear. What's all involved? Never pulled the shaft out before

no i just put a nut on the end and hit it with a big hammer and it came off. May want to use some wd-40 or so on rusty applications. Then push it through and torque the lug down with the nut and itll pull it through.
