This is the perfect 3rd gen roof rack. Hopefully going to get one in the next year. Suspension and a new mtb are coming first though.

How wide is the single row light bar ?

Sent you a pm about turn around time, it's a 38" but you can fit up to a 42" bar as that is the length of the crossbars.

Looking for opinions on what design is liked better by you guys, purely asthetic. The slanted edge at the back, or the original back of the rack. I'm leaning towards the original.

I'm definitely interested in the half racks!! I like both options but I think option one would look the best with how its lines contour to the roof. Will there be a fairing option for them and will these be able to handle the weight of a rooftop tent?

With the rear spoiler off, I can see how some might light the slanted version as it follows the contour. I tend to agree...
In this thread I see images of the full-length rack where some have removed the spoiler, and others where it is left installed.
What are the benefits of our 3rd gen rear spoiler; and how might those dynamics be changed with the addition of this or any rack? I'm guessing that with the disruption of air flow due to the rack, the rear spoiler would have less to no value, and simply just be dead weight. Sort of curious to hear thoughts...

EDIT/ADD: If it is determined that the rear spoiler has little to no value with such a rack installed, maybe the rack can extend further back, creating more surface area? I imagine it starts where it does to accommodate the rear spoiler when the rear hatch is open, and all the way up (needs roof space)...

The spoiler has no negative effect on the rack, no effect at all. doesn't touch the rack or even come near it. The issue is the actual hatch. The main iteration of the rack actually is made specifically to match the curve of the hatch and allow a 1/2" gap when installed correctly between your rack and your hatch. So pushing the rack further back is impossible unless you want to hit your hatch into the rack. Hope that makes sense. The only reason I keep my spoiler on is looks honestly, such little weight to care but I don't like the look of no spoiler.

No fairing, but it would be easy to add one. Really not necessary that far back on the roof. It will absolutely hold a tent, same weight rating as our full-length rack. 300lbs dynamic and 600lbs static load. (Weight limit for the stock roof tracks).

Yeah I know its not of much use I just like the look of your racks with fairings. Count me in on the half rack design! thinking about getting one and leaving it unpainted but putting a layer of clear on it

Half Rack Update.
Got our first version mounted up and really happy with it, minus some minor changes we will be making.
We will be making each side plate an option for purchase, we will have some real-world images of the other soon.
We will also allow for the choice of purchasing a fairing or not with the half rack.

That looks pretty slick. Somewhere down the road I want to pick up one of your racks. It's good to have a couple size options. I still have the stock roof rack at the moment, but this would be a nice upgrade to be able to secure some gear up out of the way.
Question about the feet used to connect the rack to the guide rails. I imagine that you use the same on the full size version. It might just be a visual thing, and not really make much of a difference, but is there a reason that the C shaped feet don't extend a little more towards the side of the vehicle to put a bit more metal on the other side of the guide rail groove? It might just be an aesthetic thing as it would seem most, if not all the real weight is resting on the inside guide rail, with the two anchor bolts on bottom anchoring it down.
