Honestly, is it worth the $70? I like them a lot but it seems too expensive. Still on the fence.

To be honest...no not worth $70 but when you get it as a birthday present its worth it. It does "feel" much nicer then the stock one.

Why are the auto knobs so expensive?

There are several manual knobs like the last one posted on eBay for $30 but they all have the MT gear shift pattern imprinted on the top.

I think it's because Toyota stopped making the TRD ones for AT

I've never tried to take off my shift knob on the 4Runner do they screw on like a manual?
