Shift lever jerks fore and aft

When moving slowly and giving the 4Runner some gas and then letting off the shift lever jerks fore and aft a bit -- well, too much I think. Guessing that this is a tranny or engine mount but no idea which one -- thoughts?

If this has been covered a hundred times please point me to the path of forum link righteousness.

Thanks for the info and I'll also look at the bushings! My issue may be a bit different because normally the shift lever is rock solid unless your give it the gas and then let off at a slow speed-- sort of jumps fore and aft as if the engine and tranny are also jumping fore and aft?

I beleive some movement is normal. I remember asking this on the forum a long time ago after test driving my 01 and the answer was that some movement was normal.
