my girlfriend has a 94' 4runner v6 automatic. im a car guy so i do the regular maintenance on her truck. but her power steering went out a while back and she took it to a shop to get fixed. i was against it but she did it anyways. about 2 weeks later her truck starting shifting funny and now it wont shift into second gear until it hit 5500rpm. and 3rd around 5000rpm. i dont know if the shop has anyhthing to do with it but they seriously overcharged for the work but her company paid cuz she uses it for work. ive messed with the ect and overdrive buttons but they do nothing. im more of into muscle but have become a huge fan of this truck and dont really wanna let it go if its something that can be fixed by me. if anyone can help that would be much appreciated!
